About the Role
The Professional Development Lead – Learning & Development is an integral part of Latham's Human Capital & Talent team. This role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the learning and development function, including the design, development, and delivery of training content and materials, while also developing learning resources and executing training projects and program communications, such as leaders' guides, participant workbooks, and visual aids, including PowerPoint presentations. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Facilitating professional and leadership skills through classroom and virtual course formats for a global audience
- Designing and developing new training courses in various formats (classroom, virtual, and self‑paced), as well as reviewing and updating existing courses
- Assisting in the identification of training needs and issues, and providing innovative training solutions for the Firm's business services colleagues
- Measuring the transfer of learning and training impact by creating and implementing multi‑level evaluations
- Contributing to the identification and development of learning opportunities outside the classroom, such as the use of multimedia tools and e‑learning
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Possess experience facilitating professional learning programs
- Demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in adult learning
- Exhibit well‑developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and manage stakeholder relationships at all organisational levels of the firm
And have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organisational Behaviour, Instructional Design, or a related field
- Experience in the Human Capital/People function
- Experience managing global projects within a matrixed environment
- Experience developing and facilitating both classroom and virtual learning programs
- Experience within a professional services environment
