The Information Governance Technical Analyst II is an integral part of Latham's Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality support for the wider Information Governance (IG) and Technology team, while ensuring goals and objectives of the team are met, providing accurate and timely completion of assignments and responses to inquiries, and ensuring that all tasks and duties are completed within the firm's guidelines and policies. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Performing lifecycle activities for file and user permissions within a Microsoft environment, including Entra, SharePoint Online, NTFS, and ADFS.
  • Executing access reviews and certifications based on firm requirements and regulatory and client demands.
  • Documenting policies and procedures specific to Information Governance responsibilities.
  • Maintaining accurate notes and tracking documentation for data collection projects.
  • Developing collaborative relationships with functional leads, supervisors, managers, and others within the Technology department to identify tasks to be transitioned and supported by the Information Governance team and working with these leads to design standard operating procedures.

Required profile

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, including effectively defining problems and identifying solutions.
  • Exhibit the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.

And have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, preferably Microsoft or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience working with cloud, server and storage, active directory, networking, or other technology infrastructure fields.
  • Experience working in a law firm, preferably.
