About the Role
TheConflicts Reporting Analyst isan integral part of Latham’s Office of the General Counsel team. This role will be responsible forpreparing and analysing standard conflicts reports regarding incoming attorneys and new client business, whileupdating data in the conflicts databases as necessary.This role will be located in either our Manchester, or London office.Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and finalising conflict check reports using the firm’s conflicts database to be sent to attorneys, analysts, and other staff
- Analysing standard new business and lateral conflicts checks such as advisory, NDAs, transactional checks, and others
- Communicating with attorneys and staff regarding conflict check results and any missing information from the request form, validating the requirements for the conflicts check with the attorney or secretary requesting the report
- Obtaining the necessary guidance from attorneys or other Conflicts staff to understand the requirements to properly evaluate the conflicts check (lateral candidate, potential client, potential adverse party, etc.)
- Conducting research regarding corporate entities that are subject to conflicts review using a variety of electronic databases, the Internet, and print sources

- Demonstrate advanced ability to perceive and analyse problems and develop alternative strategies to solve them
- Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively interface with attorneys, management, support staff, and outside contacts
- Display organisational skills needed to manage time well, prioritise effectively, and handle multiple deadlines and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
And have:
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated work experience involving professional interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and the ability to work independently
- Relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services firm, preferably
- Experience with Intapp Open software, preferably
