This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in sales and operations to take on responsibility for our Yate operation as Depot Director.

You would be looking after a team of 59employees, supported by on-site Operations and department Sales Managers.

The successful candidate will report directly to a Director on the Latham’s Limited board and will be supported by colleagues throughout the business.

They will oversee all aspects of the site including budgeting and overheads, performance of sales and operations, and people management.

They must be able to implement group policy in such things as health and safety, customer care, supply chain and developing employees in order to build a strong team and grow the business.

They will need to be pro-active, confident and an excellent communicator.

It is essential that they have the skills to lead a team and make decisions independently but seek advice appropriately.

The Yate site has excellent facilities that allow us to meet customer needs efficiently while providing employees with a safe, comfortable working environment.

Previous experience in the timber industry is not essential however management experience is.

Package is by negotiation but would include the items listed below as well as private medical cover and a car allowance. Relocation expenses would be available if necessary.
