We are seeking someone to work as a Class 2 Driver and Warehouse Operative. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills. Prior experience in a similar role would be ideal but training can be provided for the right candidate. Flexibility is essential and early morning starts will be required. Experience working with timber and panels products is also preferable, but not essential as training will be provided.
Our Class 2 Drivers deliver many different types of timber products and deliveries will be a mixture of customer mechanical offload and manual driver offload. The candidate must be able to conduct manual handling work picking orders, though we do make use of mechanical plant where possible.
Key duties for our Warehouse Operative part of the role include:
- Picking orders
- Goods inwards
- Loading of lorries
- Forklift operation
