We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 / Cat C Driver to join our established team based in Rochdale on a permanent contract. Our present vehicle is an 18 Tonne Rigid.

Responsibilities

The Class 2 / Cat C Driver will deliver timber products with a mix of customer mechanical offload and manual driver offload. Deliveries will include multi-drop runs and require excellent customer service skills. The role may involve early starts, flexible hours, and occasional nights out.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Class 2 / Cat C Driver with multi-drop experience.
• Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional nights out.
• Forklift/combi-lift licence would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Hours based on 48 hours weekly.
• Experience with timber and panels is preferable, but not essential.
• Valid and up-to-date drivers CPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or CD convictions.
• Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience is preferable.
• Fully conversant with current Driver Hours and Class 2 vehicle regulations.
