We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our established team based in our busy Yate depot.
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with prior experience working as Class 2/Cat C Driver.
- They will have multi-drop experience over a wide area, good geographical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
- They must fully understand Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Flexibility is essential as early morning starts will be required.
- Our Class 2/Cat C Drivers deliver many different types of timber products, with deliveries being a mixture of customer mechanical offload and manual driver offload.
- Experience working with timber and panel products is preferable, but not essential.
Qualifications
- No more than 6 points and no DD or CD.
- Valid and up-to-date Driver CPC and digital card.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- High motivation, enthusiasm, flexible for early morning starts.
- Multi-drop experience over a wide area and good geographical knowledge.
