The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be an essential part of our supply chain, ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of goods within our warehouse environment.
Your contribution will directly impact our ability to deliver outstanding service to our clients in the Logistics & Transport and Construction industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock and materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet trucks (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Assist with regular stock takes and inventory management to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in logistics, transport, and construction teams to support operational needs.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or issues promptly to warehouse supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
