Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year experience in human services environment preferred but not required
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Must exhibit ambulatory ability sufficient to physically intervene in instances of extreme behavior that might jeopardize the safety of students and staff

Compensation: $20.75-22.30 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate about issues which impact students and program operation to team and supervisor.
  • Assist in the preparation of IEPs, annual and semi-annual assessments.
  • Maintain logs and record behavioral progress.
  • Maintain clear visuals for monitoring cameras.
  • Provide informal counseling with students.
  • Maintain a clean environment for students.
  • Track clothing including seasonal rotation.
  • Constructively participate in team meetings and supervision.
  • Implement laundry schedules, chore charts, shower schedules.
  • Maintain confidential student information.
  • Provide therapeutic crisis intervention, as needed.
