Role Description

Full-time, on-site Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering

roles based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The MEP Engineers are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and performance of building services systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations. Typical duties include carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing system inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves coordinating with other engineers and contractors, supporting MEP design reviews, updating maintenance records, and contributing to continuous improvement of building performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and Building Services skills, with experience in integrated building systems.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills, including fault finding, maintenance, and safe operation of building electrical systems.
• Candidates should possess Plumbing skills, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of domestic and commercial plumbing systems.
• Candidates should possess MEP Coordination skills, with the ability to work across disciplines and manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ L2/3, HNC/HND in a Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering disipline) with equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements for building services.
• Experience in O&M for commercial or residential buildings in a facilities or building services environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
