As the business continues to scale, they are seeking a Finance Manager to take full ownership of financial operations and partner closely with the CEO to deliver both strategic and operational impact. You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment for the business, with lots of improvements to be made across systems and processes, including leading on a new finance system implementation.
Financial management and reporting:
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and forecasts
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Provide financial analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making
- Contribute to business growth through robust performance tracking and forecasting
- Partner with the CEO to drive financial strategy
- Lead the implementation of a new finance system
- Identify and deliver improvements to existing finance processes and controls
- Lay the groundwork for building out a finance team as the business scales
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and regulatory understanding
- Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Proficient with financial systems and Excel
- Leadership qualities with the potential to grow and manage a team
