Employee Relations Business Partner

Location: Remote with occasional travel to sites across the Midlands and Northwest

Salary: Β£50,000–£55,000

Latham & Bond Recruitment Group are supporting our client in the appointment of an Employee Relations Business Partner to strengthen their people function during a period of organisational change and transformation.

You will drive excellence in organisational change and employee relations, ensuring fair, transparent, and compliant processes throughout restructures, TUPE, and other change initiatives. Partnering closely with senior leaders, you will align people strategies with business goals while supporting and constructively challenging leaders to embed cultural improvements and maintain engagement during change. This role is key to shaping a resilient, adaptable, and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR support for business transformation and restructuring, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
  • Partner with senior leadership to deliver effective people strategies, coaching leaders on structural or contractual changes.
  • Guide and manage employee relations cases, including redundancies, redeployments, and workforce planning with transparency and fairness.
  • Develop clear, engaging communication plans to support employees through change.
  • Ensure HR policies align with business needs, supporting smooth execution of change initiatives.
  • Utilise HR metrics to evaluate the impact of change and drive continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in HR business partnering within environments undergoing change and restructures.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience using HR data to inform decision-making and measure impact.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
