We are working on behalf of a well-established specialist contractor and manufacturer of industrial flooring and surfacing systems. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Sales Engineer to drive new business and manage existing client relationships across the East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an established client portfolio within a defined territory
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Carry out site visits to understand project requirements and propose tailored solutions
- Prepare and follow up technical quotations and proposals
- Liaise with internal teams to support project delivery
- Assist with RAMS and installation handovers
- Maintain accurate sales and project records
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical sales or sales engineering
- Proven ability to win new business and manage client relationships
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence
- MUST HAVE: Experience supplying or installing flooring systems, resin coatings, cladding, decking, or prefabricated construction materials
Desirable:
- Background in construction or civil engineering
- Experience working with contractors, facilities managers, or industrial clients
