Working for a highly profitable and growing global business that supplies industrial machinery and capital equipment to manufacturing customers across the UK. The role is suited to a sales or commercial professional dealing with a technical or complex product, including costing, quotations, proposals or projects type work. A mix of working from home, office in Warwickshire, and visiting customer sites in the UK.

This Technical Sales Engineer role will suit someone with a manufacturing or engineering background near Warwickshire. The role involves consultative, technical sales with capital plant or industrial machinery experience.

Responsibilities
  • Engage in application-driven technical sales, understanding customer requirements and providing technical solutions.
  • Prepare costing, quotations, proposals, and manage projects or related sales activities.
  • Travel to customer sites within the UK; based within a commutable distance to Coventry, Warwick.
  • Develop and manage current accounts while targeting new markets, in a global engineering business with an SME-style unit in Warwick.
Qualifications
  • Technical or engineering background – Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, capital equipment or machinery.
  • Experience in selling technical products or solutions with an ability to translate customer needs into solutions.
  • Willingness to travel to customers in the UK; commutable to Coventry/Warwick area.
