Our client, an elite law firm, is seeking an experienced Estate Administrator to join its Trusts and Estates Department. Will oversee the administration of estates, including high net worth matters with complex assets. Varied responsibilities include:
- Drafting and interpreting legal documents related to trusts and estates
- Preparing probate filings and estate tax returns
- Managing the collection, valuation, and distribution of estate assets
- Tracking probate and tax deadlines
- Maintaining accurate accountings and financial reports
- Coordinating with outside advisors on fiduciary tax matters
Qualifications:
- Extensive estate administration experience, preferably in a law firm, bank, or trustee environment
- Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts and federal estate tax returns
- Experience handling complex, high net worth estates is a strong advantage
