We are looking for a Mid- Weight Creative Designer:
L’Atelier Five is a creative studio based in Mayfair. We work with some of the most exciting luxury brands and we are seeking a midweight designer to join our family!
We design, build and deliver bespoke retail experiences with our portfolio ranging from in-store installations and window designs to pop-up exhibitions and events.
Our studio is always full of creative energy and we love designers who are willing to break the boundaries and produce original and impactful work. The design team works closely with the wider studio on each part of the design journey including our Managing Director and Production Team based in Windsor.
You will work across an array of luxury retail projects and be confident in working with the design team yet also happy to complete tasks independently when needed.
The successful candidate will have a creative flare for design, layout and conceptual thinking, delivering engaging and on-brand customer experiences!
Job role
· Developing creative proposals whilst confidently adding own ideas to the brief.
· Pushing the boundaries in line with the LA5 ethos and designing original and current concepts.
· Visually communicating design visions through hand sketches, 2D visuals and 3D renders.
· Creating basic technical plans with multiple views and material references.
· Analysing technical drawings and giving design feedback in line with the original vision.
· Delivering high quality visuals and producing professional design packs.
· Presenting to the clients in order to communicate ideas and receiving feedback to action from.
· Flexibility in working on numerous and forthcoming projects any one time, with very tight deadlines.
Required Skills
· Full proficient knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
· Full proficient knowledge in a 3D software (Sketch Up)
· Full proficient knowledge with rendering software (VRay)
About you
· Experience working on a variety of design projects for luxury brands including, but not exclusive to, retail / visual merchandising.
· Commercial awareness and up to date with current trends and awareness of the luxury field.
· Understanding of the retail luxury field and able to apply this to own work.
· A high level of organisation and the ability to multitask whilst working to tight deadlines.
· Ability to work independently and cohesively alongside the design team
· Positive and can do attitude!
