Notes:
- You will be paid under self-employed so either a Limited Company or as a Sole Trader.
- You will on rare occasions need to travel outside London so you must be flexible to stay away from time to time. Accommodation and travel expenses will be paid.
- Typical working hours are from 7am to 3pm.
Job purpose:
You will inspect, record, and assess the condition, lifecycle, and value of physical and building structures to inform maintenance strategies. They are critical for managing property portfolios, ensuring compliance, and creating detailed reports on stock condition and repair costs.
You will be fully trained up, and you will learn the following skills:
- Understanding of building construction, materials, and engineering principles.
- Ability to perform site inspections, assess property conditions, and understand, for example, RICS standards.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
