Office Manager (Events) needed to be based in Southend. Please note: Full-time - Office based Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-3pm. Based in Southend-on-Sea so you must live near to the office.
Job Purpose: My client is looking for a confident, capable Office Manager to keep their growing team organised, efficient and moving forward. To work in a vibrant busy office. You'll be the operational heartbeat of the office making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so the wider team can shine.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day office operations
- Liaising with external accountants and suppliers
- Managing invoices, expenses and financial tracking
- Supporting team coordination and workflow
- Assisting with the organisation of events (from logistics to supplier management)
- Keeping systems, CRM and company documents in order
- Looking after the apprentice
What my client is looking for:
- Proven experience in Office Management (ideally you will come from an Events background but not a deal breaker)
- A good understanding of finances, invoices, expenses etc.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
