Print Canvas Finishing Operator required to work in Sheffield, onsite at my client's manufacturing company. Please note: you must have full working rights to work in the UK as no sponsorship is offered. This role is permanent and shifts are either 06:00 - 13:30 or 10:30 - 18:00.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finishing: Operate Kongsbergs & Fotoba cutting tables; set up and calibrate cutters to produce high-quality canvas products while maintaining consistency and quality. Match the cut prints with job-sheets and organise by size, separating for different clients.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on cutters to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Physical Stamina: Standing for long periods and handling heavy canvas rolls, requiring good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

General

  • To comply with the company's Health & Safety and Quality & Environmental Management System policies and procedures.
  • To be well presented for work and conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner.

Skills required:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar print role.
  • Experience of working in the manufacturing industry.
  • Skills/Knowledge: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Good personal time management, planning and organisational skills required to manage competing demands and priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong eye for colour accuracy, alignment, and print quality.
  • Personal qualities: Enthusiastic personality - a can-do attitude and friendly outlook. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Calm and decisive when working under pressure. Flexible approach to working hours.
