Print Guillotine Operator / Digital Finishing required to work in Sheffield, onsite at my client's manufacturing company. Please note: you must have full working rights to work in the UK as no sponsorship is offered. This role is permanent and offers double days - 06:00 - 13:00 and 13:30 - 21:00 on a two-week rota.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Polar and Wohlenberg guillotines: Set up, calibrate and operate guillotines to finish high-quality digital print products maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on guillotines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that all products are finished to a high standard, with attention to detail and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Physical Stamina: Standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks, requiring good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
General
- To comply with the company's Health & Safety and Quality & Environmental Management System policies and procedures.
- To be well presented for work and conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner.
Skills required:
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar print role.
- Experience of working in the manufacturing industry.
Skills/Knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Good personal time management, planning and organisational skills required to manage competing demands and priorities.
- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for colour accuracy, alignment, and print quality.
