Window and Door Fabricator required for a role based in Southend. This is a full-time, hands-on position working Monday to Friday in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication & Assembly
- Interpret technical drawings, job sheets, and cutting lists.
- Measure, cut, and prepare profiles (e. g. aluminium/u PVC/timber/steel) using appropriate machinery.
- Install glazing units, beads, and seals as required.
- Machining & Tools
- Safely operate workshop machinery such as saws, drills, routers, CNC machines, welders, crimpers, and press tools.
- Use hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, deburring, and finishing.
- Quality & Compliance
- Inspect components and finished products for defects, correct dimensions, and smooth operation.
- Work to agreed tolerances and standards (e. g. company quality procedures, building regulations, industry standards).
- Health, Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all health and safety policies, including correct use of PPE and safe operation of machinery.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience fabricating windows and/or doors (aluminium, u PVC, or timber).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measuring documents.
- Good measuring skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of workmanship.
- Practical, hands‑on approach with good problem‑solving skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and techniques.
