Senior Business Central/Functional Business Analyst

Senior Business Central/Functional Business Analyst required to work remotely with the odd occasional travel, once maybe twice a month, depending on workshops/workload (see below). Please note: * Please do not send in your CV if you do not have Microsoft Dynamics – Business Central. * Unfortunately, my client cannot sponsor you so if you do need sponsoring then I'm sorry you will not be considered, this includes Tier 4 post study visa and Tier 2 general visa. * You must be able to travel up to near Middlesborough once a month – expenses will be covered. * Good news; this is a remote role but you will need to travel on rare occasions and be part of a team. Job responsibilities: * This position will require the individual to apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximise the benefit of IT system investments. * Provide production support services to users of the company’s various applications, in addition to supporting future system development initiatives. Primarily focusing on my clients Hire/Rental and Sales front office solutions. * Activities include gathering and analysing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements, leading to technical solution definition and managing through to development and testing to acceptance. * Also includes second line user support and problem identification and resolution. Skills required: * Proven Business Central as a Business Analyst with Finance Systems experience or if you have good BC and you come from a Functional Consultant / Analyst. * Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies and adhering to audit and project management policies and procedures, such as ITIL and Prince2. * Supporting Business Financial systems is essential. * Good knowledge of SQL. * Experience in the functionality of accounting, order entry and billing software packages in a Window SQL Server environment. * Proficiency with Microsoft tools – MS Office suite.
