The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Ideally you will have Solar Farm experience but it is not essential, to work in my client’s Southend Office with onsite visits too.
Job Purpose: You will help manage costs, prepare estimates, and ensure projects stay within budget. This role involves a mix of office-based tasks like cost analysis and report writing, as well as potential site visits for data collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Assisting in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and conducting cost analysis.
- Tender and Contract Support: Helping with the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
- Project Monitoring: Monitoring project costs, ensuring they remain within budget, and preparing reports.
- Financial Reporting: Supporting the preparation of monthly cost/value reports and valuations.
- Risk Management: Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of (ideally Solar Farms) however, construction processes, regulations, and different building contracts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Educational Background: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field required.
- Full driving licence and CSCS Card.
