We're looking for an experienced 1st and 2nd fix chippy for a variety of jobs around the Southend area. Please note; you must be CIS registered to be considered. To be a good fit, you'll need your own tools and van and live locally. We're after a real grafter who doesn't mind a full day's work, from 8am to 5pm.
Your day-to-day will cover all aspects of site carpentry. For 1st fix, that means:
- Building timber stud walls
- Laying joists and flooring
- Working on roofs and window frames
On the 2nd fix side, you'll be:
- Hanging doors
- Fitting skirting and architraves
- Taking care of all the finishing touches like ironmongery and window boards
