Are you an experienced and ambitious Domiciliary Care Manager looking for a genuine long‑term career opportunity within a growing and award‑winning organisation? Alternatively, are you an experienced deputy manager with the right skills and knowledge to make an impact in this business? Lastminute Care & Nursing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager to help lead and develop our growing domiciliary care operations across the Wirral and Cheshire region from our Neston office. This is not a standard management role. We are building a strong long‑term leadership team and are looking for someone who wants progression, responsibility, influence, and the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work closely alongside our Supported Living Manager, with both individuals operating as Registered Managers within the same location. This dual‑management structure has been designed intentionally to create a stronger, more supportive operational environment. Both managers will support each other with service delivery, compliance, annual leave cover, sickness cover, operational pressures, and business development. We believe management works best when leaders have support around them rather than operating in isolation. This role offers the opportunity to become involved in far more than simply managing one local service. As the business continues to expand nationally, the successful candidate will also have opportunities to support wider operational projects, assist other locations, and potentially become involved in supporting our growing franchise network, which already operates across 16 UK locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the safe and effective delivery of domiciliary care services
- Supporting and maintaining high standards of CQC compliance
- Managing care coordinators, office staff, and care teams
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention of staff
- Building strong relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals
- Assisting with rota management and operational efficiency
- Supporting safeguarding, quality assurance, and care standards
- Working collaboratively with the existing management team
- Providing operational cover and support during annual leave and sickness
- Assisting with service growth and development opportunities
- Supporting wider business and operational projects where appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within domiciliary care management
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
- Leadership experience within health and social care
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and problem‑solving ability
- Positive leadership style and ability to motivate teams
- Ambitious mindset with a desire for progression
- Passion for delivering high‑quality care services
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Why Join Us?

- Support and mentor operators within our national franchise network
- Become involved in wider operational and strategic projects
- Help shape and develop growing care services
- Progress into senior operational or regional management roles
- Work within an ambitious and award‑winning organisation
- Build a long‑term career with genuine progression opportunities
We are looking for someone who wants to become part of the long‑term journey of the business rather than simply filling a position.
What We Offer
- £40,000 – £60,000 salary depending on experience, ability, and impact
- Performance and progression opportunities
- Strong senior leadership support
- Long‑term career progression opportunities
- Ongoing professional development and training
