As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Review and approve electrical designs to ensure they meet accreditation requirements and are fit for purpose for adoption, ownership and long-term operation.
- Work closely with upstream network operators and internal teams, constructively challenging designs where needed to achieve compliant and efficient outcomes.
- Support the development of the design team by sharing your expertise and helping team members progress and reach their next milestones.

Your responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and approving electrical designs and quotations to ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, upstream network operator specifications and Last Mile adoption criteria.
- Carrying out formal design and variation approval checks, providing authorised engineer sign off to confirm designs are fit for purpose and ready for delivery.
- Assessing electrical drawings, engineering reports and supporting documentation, identifying risks, required improvements and opportunities for efficient design.
- Providing clear technical guidance and feedback to designers, supporting consistent quality across quotations, approvals and design changes.
- Supporting the development of the design team by maintaining technical standards, contributing to training and managing technical escalations with internal teams and network operators.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Electrical Engineer Experience.
- Utilities Experience.
- Relevant Engineering Degree.
- Chartered Engineer.
