Our Leeds team is growing, and we are excited to welcome a Jointers Mate to join us and progress into a Jointer's Mate role.

As a Jointers Mate at Energetics, you will work alongside a Cable Jointer on electricity networks, supporting LV services and HV connections to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification. You will also assist in coordinating onsite electrical activities, ensuring full compliance with Energetics Safety Rules, Procedures, and our NERS accreditation.

Your responsibilities as a Jointer's Mate:

  • Support the Jointer with LV and HV electrical connections across domestic, industrial, and commercial projects, including cable testing, service terminations, and general site housekeeping.
  • Assist with risk assessments, maintain safe working practices, and ensure accurate records are kept in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete all works to Energetics and DNO specifications, ensuring efficient use of materials and correct use of tools, plant, and PPE.
  • Read, understand, and work to technical plans, drawings, and instructions, ensuring tasks are prepared and executed to a high standard.
  • Take responsibility for Safety, Health and Environment, while maintaining and developing technical skills to support safe, compliant, and high-quality project delivery.

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Understanding of utility/construction sector
  • Identify industrial hazards and health and safety precautions.
