Our Regulations team is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to bring their expertise in regulatory frameworks within the Energy and Utilities industry. As a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Last Mile, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our regulatory strategy.
You will ensure compliance across water, wastewater, electricity, gas, and heat frameworks, while working closely with regulators and industry bodies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring regulatory developments, assessing their impact, and influencing outcomes through advocacy and consultation engagement.
- Managing processes that prepare the organisation for regulatory changes, ensuring smooth implementation and compliance.
- Designing and overseeing initiatives that enhance regulatory compliance performance and strengthen relationships with regulators.
- Working closely with colleagues to help them understand current and upcoming regulatory requirements.
- Acting as Last Mile's voice with regulators, conducting policy research and managing consultation responses.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Knowledge and significant lived experience of the extensive regulatory, commercial and compliance framework supporting the operation of the gas, electricity, water, wastewater and heat network industries.
- Knowledge of industry licensing, codes, pricing controls and regulatory programmes.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders in meeting regulatory obligations and developing policy positions.
