Our Group Finance team is expanding, and we are excited to welcome a Financial Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in enhancing our transactional finance functions.
As a Financial Operations Manager, you will report into the Head of Group Finance and Treasury and work closely with the Group Financial Controller. You will oversee the centralised Accounts Payable (AP) function and optimise group-wide cash management and working capital, as well as contributing towards enhancing finance systems, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial reporting. You will also drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and play a key role in supporting the Group's overall financial performance.

Your responsibilities as a Financial Operations Manager:
- Lead and manage the centralised Accounts Payable (AP) function, including mentoring the team to drive accuracy, efficiency, and a culture of accountability.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management, optimising payment terms, credit policies, and collection strategies.
- Standardise and streamline transactional finance processes across the Group, ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with audit standards.
- Act as finance lead for operational Finance system functionality, partnering with Data & Technology and third parties to manage upgrades, resolve issues, and drive system improvements.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, delivering accurate and timely reporting on AP, Finance systems, and cash requirements to senior management.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements to reduce manual effort, enhance accuracy, and ensure consistent best practice across all entities.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Proven experience in managing financial operations / transactional finance within a multi-entity or group structure.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and cash management.
- Proficiency with the Business Central finance system and advanced Excel skills.
Qualifications (desirable):
- Fully qualified or part qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ICAS).
