As a Trainee Multi-Utility Supervisor, you will support the management and motivation of multi-disciplinary operational teams and subcontractors. You will help ensure all planned work is delivered in line with approved designs and meets the highest standards of health, safety and quality, under the guidance of the Head of Operations and experienced Supervisors. You will also assist in ensuring work is well planned and achievable, sites are prepared for construction, and materials and plant are specified correctly and available when needed.

Your responsibilities as a Trainee Multi-Utility Supervisor:
- Support the day-to-day supervision of multi-skilled operatives and subcontractors, driving productivity, maintaining morale, and promoting a customer-focused culture.
- Assist with the safe and compliant delivery of construction projects, ensuring work meets contract requirements, quality standards, and all permit and regulatory obligations.
- Help plan and coordinate resources, materials, plant and scheduling to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and sites are fully prepared.
- Monitor performance and standards through audits, reviews and reporting, including supporting investigations, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of documentation.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and customers, supporting communication, resolving issues, and contributing to successful project and commercial outcomes.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Site experience would be beneficial
- Previous management experience, preferable in utilities or related construction sector (desirable)
- Relevant experience operating in the utility or industry (desirable)
- Experience managing projects in line with CDM (desirable)
- Commercial acuity and demonstrable project, financial and contract management skills (desirable)
Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NRSWA Qualification (desirable)
- Health & Safety qualification including Site Safety training IOSH, CDM, etc. (desirable)
- SHEA in Gas/ Water/Electricity Networks (desirable)
