As a CAD Technician (Technical Administrator), youll support the adoption of assets into the business by ensuring all asset records are accurately updated, registered, and stored in the relevant systems.
If you dont have CAD experience but have strong administrative skills and an interest in developing a career in CAD, we offer full training to help you build your expertise.

Your responsibilities as a CAD Technician (Technical Administrator):
- Manage and process asset submissionsensure all required information is accurately collected, identifying and resolving missing data while meeting service standard deadlines.
- Verify and control utility network documentationreview and validate drawings from utility providers, enabling the timely issuance of Completion Certificates as part of the asset adoption process.
- Create and maintain precise asset recordsproduce and update Multi-Utility As-Laid/As-Built drawings in line with company standards, ensuring all records are audit-ready and stored correctly for future use.
- Support efficient network managementorganise and maintain asset documentation within the companys document management system, making critical project information easily accessible to internal teams.
- Deliver outstanding servicework within agreed SLAs to provide timely and high-quality support to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient adoption process.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Fully proficient user of all Microsoft Office packages
- Setting and monitoring of KPIs and working to achieve agreed SLAs
- AutoCAD proficient (desirable)
