As a Cable Jointer at UKPS, you will work alongside other Cable Jointers and Jointers Mates within your authorisations, focusing on High Voltage/Low Voltage New Connections in your region.

Your responsibilities as a Cable Jointer:

  • Ensure all relevant information is received and fully understood before commencing any work activities
  • Carry out site specific risk assessments prior to starting work and throughout the task as required
  • Promote and demonstrate a strong culture of health, safety and quality at all times
  • Complete all works in line with UK Power Solutions Ltd and relevant DNO specifications, using tools, equipment and plant correctly
  • Notify the project supervisor or project manager of any variations and report all accidents or incidents promptly

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Experienced Cable Jointer with relevant authorisations

Qualifications:

  • EUSR or ECS card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • First aid certification
  • NRSWA Operator certification (desirable)
