Responsibilities:

  • Capture meter readings using automated AMR systems and conduct manual readings where required.
  • Identify, investigate and report issues such as non‑connecting meters, anomalies and faulty equipment, escalating when necessary.
  • Complete meter‑related tasks including serial number checks, logging updates and carrying out meter exchanges.
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot and arrange maintenance for remote pressure and flow monitoring equipment while maintaining accurate operational records.
  • Uphold Health & Safety standards by following all procedures, using appropriate PPE and proactively reporting hazards, near‑misses or incidents.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Basic mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence.
