We're looking for a passionate and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Lass O Richmond Hill, a destination pub on the edge of Richmond Park with a proud reputation for bold flavours, seasonal cooking and unforgettable hospitality. Our food is rooted in the heritage of the British pub but elevated with modern techniques, celebrating the best of each season. We take inspiration from our surroundings, often showcasing foraged ingredients from Richmond Park, and have built a loyal following of locals and visitors who come for our roaring fires in winter, sun-soaked garden in summer and menus that evolve throughout the year. The Lass stands at the forefront of food innovation within Youngs and this role offers the chance to shape that journey further.

What you'll do as Head Chef:

  • Create and deliver seasonal menus and daily specials celebrating the best British produce.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to innovate and develop the Lass food vision.
  • Lead, train and inspire your brigade, building a supportive high-performing team culture.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including rota planning, ordering, training and health & safety compliance.
  • Drive sales and maintain strong GP and labour controls through effective planning and organisation.
  • Work closely with front of house to ensure a seamless guest experience.
