Salary: £31,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance

Location: Hybrid/Southeast (with occasional UK travel)

Conduct Site Decarbonisation Surveys for public sector buildings and provide detailed recommendations on energy efficiency improvements.

Carry out Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Recommendation Reports (RRs), and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) as required.

Assess energy systems such as boilers, lighting, heat pumps, and solar PV, evaluating their performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Use specialist software as well as Excel to calculate costs, savings, and carbon reduction potential.

Analyse energy data and provide insightful reports for clients to help them make informed decisions.

Organise and manage site visits, including liaising with stakeholders and ensuring smooth survey execution.

Manage workloads effectively and report progress to the Senior Energy Surveyor.

Ideally, industry/relevant technical or environmental qualifications (e.g. experience conducting energy assessments and understanding of building energy systems).

Knowledge of modern energy technologies such as heat pumps, solar PV, and building management systems.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to process and interpret energy data.

We are looking for an Energy Surveyor to join LASER, our Energy & Carbon Division. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Site Decarbonisation Surveys and providing essential energy performance assessments for public sector customers.
