About the role
Supporting Laser Digitals Trading and Asset Management business’s trading in 24/7 Digital and traditional markets, we are looking for flexible and dynamic individuals to help the business grow from its exciting launch phase.
You will be responsible for managing clients Prime Brokers, Custodians and trading venues, ensuring trades settle in a timely fashion, margin calls are met, and accounts are appropriately funded in a sophisticated global trading business.
This is an opportunity to join a new business in an important function and help design and shape the role and processes.
We are looking for applications to cover a 24/7 global business including weekends.
Role Responsibilities
- Reconciliations – ensuring trades and positions reconcile with Prime Brokers, Trading venues and Custodians.
- Managing cash and digital balances – Instructing transfers of both Fiat and Digital currencies and assets.
- Counterparty management – Liaising with trading counterparties to ensure timely settlement.
- Hedge Fund full Life cycle management – From creation of new Funds, through to Subscriptions/Redemptions and NAV process
- Processes Management – Help design processes for new trading flows and asset types and work to optimise existing flows to automate and streamline as much as possible.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
- Confident, organised and self-motivated – ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
- Settlement experience in both traditional and digital assets.
- Experience of a Crypto high volume trading environment, trading across multiple regions and assets.
- Experience of working with Hedge Fund structures.
- Problem solving skills think on their feet, be proactive and spot opportunities to improve processes.
- Candidate needs to have good analytical skills.
- Easily personable with colleagues and clients.
