Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, positive, and proactive Clinical Manager to join our “Outstanding” CQC-rated practice. We are a forward-thinking, well-established SystmOne practice that embraces innovation to improve patient outcomes and efficiency. You will be joining a strong management structure, working alongside our HR Manager, Practice Manager, Estates Manager, and Business Manager, all supported by the Partners and an excellent team of clinical and administrative staff.

About the Role

As Clinical Manager, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to our multidisciplinary team. You will have direct line management responsibility for:

  • Clinical Leads
  • Chronic Disease Nurse Specialists

You will support the designated leads both clinically and managerially who have responsibility for the Clinical Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates, Trainee Nurse Associates, and Healthcare Support Workers. Your role will include:

  • Managing the delivery of effective and efficient healthcare, including medicines management, chronic disease management, wound care, travel health, child immunisation, and cervical cytology.
  • Providing clinical sessions in an area of interest.
  • Working closely with the Practice Manager to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care.

About You

  • Professional clinical qualification and registration (e.g., Nurse, Pharmacist).
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification (or understanding of it to support colleagues).
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multitask.
