We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated clinical practitioner to join our team.

Are you an experienced Clinical Practitioner passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care? Do you have a keen interest in minor illness management and want to make a meaningful impact in primary care?

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Clinical Practitioner to join our friendly and forward-thinking GP Practice team, delivering Minor Illness Clinics to help meet the growing needs of our patient population.

We are based over 4 sites in Worksop, Carlton-in-Lindrick and Langold with a patient list size of almost 35,000 and rated Outstanding by CQC. We believe in innovation and are always striving to find more efficient ways of working and improve patient care

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Independently assess, diagnose, request appropriate investigations, and treat patients presenting with a range of minor illnesses, referring onwards when appropriate.
  • Work autonomously while being supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • Play a key role in improving access, reducing GP workload, and enhancing patient outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A registered nurse, paramedic, or allied health professional (NMC/HCPC registered).
  • Proven experience in minor illness management in primary or urgent care settings, with a level 7 qualification such as APACS and/or Minor illness qualification.
  • Experience of long-term conditions is also desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • A confident, compassionate communicator with a team-focused approach.
  • General practice experience is desirable but not essential.

We are based over 4 sites with a patient list size of approximately 35,000 and rated “Outstanding” by CQC.

We believe in innovation and are always striving to find more efficient ways of working and improve patient care.

We are a multidisciplinary team of

  • 8 GP Partners and 10 Salaried GPs
  • Clinical Practitioners undertaking home visits and assisting with patient care
  • Clinical Pharmacists managing medication related queries
  • First Contact Physiotherapists assisting with MSK problems
  • Social Prescribers and Care Coordinators
  • Experienced Management Team (including HR, Practice, Business, Estates and Appointments)
  • Fantastic scanning and summarising team undertaking Read Coding
  • Dedicated administrative team with an experienced secretary pool
