Full Time experienced Private PA and House Manager required to join an established team within a private country Estate set in the most beautiful location on the Essex/Suffolk border (AONB). The property is easily accessed from Sudbury, Colchester and Ipswich. This position offers the opportunity for the successful personal assistant and house manager to travel to London (one day a week). The other 4 days the PA will be based in the estate office in Suffolk. Although you will be working on your own in the Suffolk office, this is not an isolated role as there are other people on the estate.
The Position
- Diary Management
- Dealing with emails, calls and private correspondence
- Organising all administrative work for the Principal including philanthropic work
- Organising travel arrangements for the Principal
- Being the first point of contact for the domestic and estate staff
- Working with Mac systems
- Travelling to Central London one day a week
The Person will be
- Reliable, discreet, punctual and enthusiastic
- Well presented and polite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experienced with working within a private household
- Comfortable liaising with a variety of people, The Principals, other PAs and estate staff, contractors etc
- Very competent with IT
- A car driver with own transport
- A non smoker
- Live within commuting distance of the estate
- Able to provide fully checkable references
A generous salary will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references. Start date will be early May 2026.
