An established Insurance company near Sudbury, Suffolk have a wonderful opportunity for a charismatic, people-orientated Customer Service Advisor to join the team and provide a professional, warm service to new and existing clients. This is a fantastic position with a growing company for someone who loves connecting with customers and finding the right solutions to meet their needs. If you are an excellent communicator on the phone and via email, feel passionate about providing an excellent customer service and thrive in busy environments this could be the perfect role for you. You will be working with a supportive team in a wonderful countryside setting. The position is office based Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate. A competitive salary is on offer depending on experience.
The Role
- Handling general enquiries, including new business, policy alterations and renewals
- Establishing customer needs and assisting with solutions from the company product range
- Processing mid-term adjustments and inviting renewals
- Selling insurance policies and proactively looking for ways to upsell where possible
- Introducing the range of Financial Services and Risk Management products to new and existing clients
- Supporting team members in the management of key accounts
The Ideal Candidate
- Will demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude and a positive outlook
- Polite, well presented with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Will demonstrate the drive and energy required to provide a fantastic customer service experience to existing and prospective clients
- Will be a proficient IT user with good interpersonal skills
- Will be a problem solver who enjoys working in a team
- Organised and able to manage a busy work load and prioritise tasks
- Will hold a minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Cert CII qualification or above would be desirable but not essential
- Able and willing to learn new systems, products, processes and skills
