A well-established, multi-sector insurance agency based in Bury St Edmunds is looking for an exceptional Sales Associate to join their team and become a go-to expert for Commercial Insurance clients. About the role
The Sales Associate will join the New Business Development Team focusing on a Commercial Insurance portfolio. This is a fast-paced driven position which will have you out there independently winning new accounts, prospecting leads, converting conversations and utilising targeted marketing campaigns that bring results to fruition. Working alongside a team of experts you will be encouraged and supported and will receive full training to ensure you are fully licensed on company products.
- Plan, prospect and manage your own leads
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business working to KPIs
- Develop trusted, long-term client relationships turning connections into accounts
- Introduce clients to the wider business cross-selling with internal services and teams
- Work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where no two days are the same
The ideal candidate will be motivated, driven and passionate about winning new business and providing an exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in B2B sales (insurance industry experience is a bonus)
- A commercially focused mindset with a genuine desire to grow a book of business
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivation and the resilience to work independently
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g. CII) is desirable but not essential as professional development is available
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle as there will be travel involved to visit clients
