Our Client is a privately backed international investment firm focused on acquiring and managing assets within the real assets / natural resources / infrastructure space. Operating across Europe with a growing global footprint, they execute multiple transactions each year and work closely with external advisers and internal stakeholders to deliver deals efficiently and commercially.

The business is entrepreneurial, fast‑moving, and highly collaborative. While their transactions can be complex, their culture is pragmatic and relationship‑driven. They value people who take ownership, communicate calmly, and keep momentum moving behind the scenes.

This role supports a senior investment and legal leadership team, with line management based internationally and day‑to‑day collaboration conducted in English.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised, commercially aware Deal Execution / Legal Operations professional to support the smooth delivery of investment transactions from documentation through to signing. This is not a negotiation role and not a senior legal position. Instead, it is ideal for someone who enjoys managing contracts, paperwork, approvals, and internal coordination, and who takes pride in ensuring deals close efficiently and correctly.

You will act as the connective tissue between internal teams, external counsel, and decision‑makers, quietly but effectively ensuring that nothing stalls and that all documentation reflects agreed commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal & Process Coordination
    • Manage the end‑to‑end execution process for investment transactions, from initial documentation through to signing and completion
    • Track deliverables, deadlines, and approvals to ensure deals progress smoothly
    • Maintain oversight of multiple transactions running in parallel
  • Legal & Contract Support
    • Support the preparation, review, and circulation of contracts, term sheets, and execution documents
    • Ensure that commercially agreed terms are accurately reflected in final documentation, flagging discrepancies where needed
  • Internal Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a central point of contact between Legal, Investment, Finance, Tax, and senior approvers
    • Proactively chase inputs and signatures in a diplomatic, relationship‑driven manner
    • Help a junior in‑house legal function by taking ownership of process, administration, and execution logistics

Candidate Profile

  • Ideal Background
    • Legal Secretary / Senior Legal Assistant (transactional focus), or
    • Paralegal (corporate / commercial / funds / finance), or
    • In‑house Legal Operations, Contracts, or Deal Coordination role
  • Experience from either law firm or in‑house environments

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Comfortable working with contracts, paperwork, and execution mechanics
  • Commercially aware - able to understand the intent of a deal even if not negotiating it
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident chasing stakeholders politely and persuasively
  • Calm, smooth, and relationship‑oriented communication style
  • Well‑spoken, professional, and discreet

Practical Details

  • Location: Fully remote; London office available but not required
  • Reporting Line: International manager (based in Europe)
  • Language: English (business language)
  • Working Style: Autonomous, trust‑based, execution‑focused

Why Join?

This is an excellent opportunity for a legal or deal‑focused professional who enjoys being at the heart of transactions without being on the front line of negotiation. You'll gain exposure to high‑value, international deals while playing a critical role in ensuring they close smoothly and successfully.
