In this role you will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of Real Estate Finance and CRE Structured Debt transactions, supporting both lender and sponsor clients across multiple asset classes. This is an excellent opportunity to develop deep technical ability within a market‑leading team while gaining hands‑on exposure to complex, high‑value financing matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist on Real Estate Finance and CRE Structured Debt deals across a wide variety of asset types, acting for both lender and sponsor-side clients.
  • Draft core finance documents, including:
  • complex facility agreements
  • fee letters and syndication letters
  • mezzanine finance documentation
  • priority agreements and intercreditor agreements
  • Develop strong understanding of how to finance the full range of real estate assets — including office, residential, retail, hotel, logistics, and mixed‑use assets.
  • Support the structuring of financing solutions ranging from vanilla investment lending to structured debt and large-scale development finance.
  • Skills & Experience Required:

    • UK Qualified with previous training at UK-based law firm
    • Solid understanding of key Real Estate Finance concepts and awareness of current trends in the REF market.
    • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and practical advice.
    • Collaborative mindset with strong team‑working skills; able to work effectively with colleagues across practice groups and seniority levels.
    • Willingness to support junior team members and contribute to their development.
