Larson Maddox is partnering with a Global Investment Firm to help grow out their legal team in the UK. We are seeking a highly skilled Attorney with deep experience in structured finance and private credit fund financing. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high-value transactions involving innovative structures and bespoke financing solutions. You will be a trusted advisor to clients navigating the evolving landscape of credit markets, regulatory frameworks, and investor demands.
What You\’ll Do:
- Lead and advise on the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and Collateralized Fund Obligations (CFOs).
- Provide strategic legal guidance on Rated Feeders, hybrid structures, and other fund-level vehicles.
- Design and implement financing solutions for private credit funds, including Asset-Based Loans (ABLs), subscription facilities, and loans to SPVs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and market best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, risk-mitigated solutions tailored to client objectives.
- Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory developments, and investor expectations to provide proactive, forward-thinking advice.
What We’re Looking For:
- UK-qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with a strong background in structured finance and fund finance.
- 6+ years of experience in structured finance, fund finance, or related practice areas.
- Proven expertise in CLOs, CFOs, and private credit financing structures.
- Familiarity with US market practices and documentation standards
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions under tight timelines.
- Strong commercial acumen and client‑facing communication skills.
