We are currently instructed on a senior opportunity for a Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer (Senior Associate / Legal Director level) to join an internationally respected law firm in London. The Role

This role will focus on high‑quality, transactional construction work, with a strong advisory element. You can expect to work on:

  • Drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts (including JCT, NEC, and FIDIC)
  • Advising on procurement strategies and project structuring
  • Supporting major real estate developments and infrastructure projects
  • Providing construction input on real‑estate, finance, and corporate transactions
  • Advising clients on risk allocation and project delivery matters

You will play a key role within the team, working closely with partners and taking on a high level of client interaction and responsibility.

Candidate Profile

  • Senior Associate or Legal Director level (typically 6+ PQE)
  • Strong experience in non‑contentious construction from a recognised projects or construction practice
  • Solid grounding in standard form contracts (JCT, NEC and/or FIDIC)
  • Commercial, solutions‑focused approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships

Candidates with experience of cross‑border projects or exposure to Middle East work will be of particular interest.
