We are currently instructed on a senior opportunity for a Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer (Senior Associate / Legal Director level) to join an internationally respected law firm in London. The Role
This role will focus on high‑quality, transactional construction work, with a strong advisory element. You can expect to work on:
- Drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts (including JCT, NEC, and FIDIC)
- Advising on procurement strategies and project structuring
- Supporting major real estate developments and infrastructure projects
- Providing construction input on real‑estate, finance, and corporate transactions
- Advising clients on risk allocation and project delivery matters
You will play a key role within the team, working closely with partners and taking on a high level of client interaction and responsibility.
Candidate Profile
- Senior Associate or Legal Director level (typically 6+ PQE)
- Strong experience in non‑contentious construction from a recognised projects or construction practice
- Solid grounding in standard form contracts (JCT, NEC and/or FIDIC)
- Commercial, solutions‑focused approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships
Candidates with experience of cross‑border projects or exposure to Middle East work will be of particular interest.
