A leading international law firm is looking to hire a high‑calibre Restructuring & Insolvency Senior Associate (5‑7 PQE) to join its growing London team. This is a standout opportunity to work at the forefront of complex, cross‑border restructurings and insolvency matters, advising a broad client base and taking a lead role on high‑profile transactions.
The Role
- Advise lenders, investors, directors, corporates and officeholders across a full spectrum of restructuring and insolvency matters
- Play a key role in distressed M&A transactions (buy‑side and sell‑side) across multiple sectors
- Support boards through financial stress and turnaround scenarios, including directors' duties and contingency planning
- Handle both contentious and non‑contentious insolvency work
- Draft and negotiate key documentation including security reviews, enforcement strategies, administrations and court applications
- Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives
Requirements
- 5‑7 years' PQE in restructuring & insolvency from a recognised firm
- Experience across both contentious and non‑contentious matters
- Strong technical grounding with commercial awareness
- Ability to operate in fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environments
- Confidence leading matters and working across cross‑border mandates
- A proactive approach to BD and market engagement
