The Senior Counsel, Employment will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, delivering pragmatic, business-oriented solutions that enable growth while mitigating legal risk. Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on UK and US employment law, covering both contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Lead and manage contentious employment issues, including disputes, litigation strategy, and regulatory investigations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, incentive plans, and compensation structures for front-office and technology professionals.
- Advise on cross-border employment considerations, ensuring compliance with global regulatory frameworks.
- Act as a trusted partner on workforce-related aspects of transactions, including team acquisitions and senior hires.
- Collaborate with leadership on risk management, governance, and employment-related regulatory obligations.
- UK-qualified solicitor (England & Wales).
- 7+ years PQE, ideally trained at a leading law firm and/or in-house within financial services.
