An established, highly ranked Employment team is looking to add an experienced Employment Lawyer at Senior Associate or Director level. The team offers genuine autonomy, early responsibility and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping both client relationships and the wider practice.

You will join a genuinely supportive and collaborative environment where career development is actively encouraged, and where senior lawyers are given the opportunity to gain management and leadership experience alongside high‑quality fee‑earning work.

The role offers exposure to a broad and interesting mix of employment, HR and business immigration matters for both private and listed companies. You will advise clients operating across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, consumer, technology, sport, retail, healthcare and education.

Work includes advising on complex employment disputes, workforce strategy, industrial relations and union matters, senior exits and appointments, and day‑to‑day advisory and contentious employment issues. The client base includes a mix of national and international organisations, offering variety, depth and consistent quality of instruction.

About you

  • Qualified Employment solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE
  • Strong experience across advisory and contentious employment matters
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and taking ownership of matters
  • Interested in progressing your career within a leading full‑service firm outside of London
  • Keen to develop management or mentoring experience as part of your next role
