We're working with a global technology and digital services business operating across 50+ countries, supporting major enterprises on cloud, data centre and infrastructure transformation. The business is continuing to invest in its in-house legal function and is now looking to appoint a Commercial Counsel to support its UK and EMEA operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, international legal team in a broad, commercially focused role with strong stakeholder exposure.

The Role:
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology services, SaaS, licensing and outsourcing agreements
  • Advising the business on day-to-day commercial and contractual matters across a range of sectors and jurisdictions
  • Supporting bids, tenders and complex client engagements, working closely with sales and delivery teams
  • Providing pragmatic legal advice on risk management, contract strategy and regulatory considerations
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders across sales, procurement and operations to drive commercially sound outcomes
  • Contributing to the development of legal templates, processes and best practice across the function
Candidate Profile:
  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with strong commercial contracts experience
  • Background in technology, IT services, outsourcing or a comparable sector
  • Experience handling complex, high-value commercial agreements in-house or in private practice
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic and able to operate in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first environment
