Due to continued business growth and an increasing workload, Larsen Building Products is looking to recruit a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The key tasks in this role involve:
- Driving different vehicles.
- Delivery of bulk liquid admixtures to NI/ROI customer sites.
- Delivery of bulk powders across NI.
- Delivery of Mortar Silos across NI/ROI.
- Small fitting/mechanical duties.
- Interact with customer personnel and represent the company.
- Ensure vehicles are operated in a safe manner and are compliant with all required legislation.
- Working with production personnel to ensure safe and timely loading of vehicles.
- Carry out Silo relocation tasks across NI/ROI sites.
- Carry out interplant transfers or local product deliveries.
- Execute any other duties as allocated by the line manager.
Criteria:
- Current Class C+E licence and up to date CPC certificate.
- Ability to use data processing systems (training provided) when required.
Education:
- Educated to GCSE/NVQ level 1 in at least English and Maths.
Circumstances:
- The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis operating on a single day shift.
- Consideration would be given to candidates seeking a part-time opportunity particularly those from an agricultural background.
- The role may require participating in an overtime rota or 1-2 overnights every 4 weeks.
